The Plane of Ecliptic is illustrated in this C...

The plane of ecliptic

Since timing was one of the notes in this weeks Weekly, I thought I would mention Magickal Timing as part of the Journey this week. I’m not very good at tracking the stars but as I delve into the science of magick I realize how important it has been in the past to know my correspondences.

Taliesin Mcknight illustrates a what I feel are the essentials. I still can’t wrap my head around timing the hour to the planet but that’s why I have an astro-calendar. 😉 Someone’s good at it, I’ll listen to them.

Also, if you read the post, there is a bit about timing on internal influences, which should always be considered.

((EXCERPT))

Tips for Magickal Timing

Author: Taliesin McKnight

Magick is a very ancient science, and one thing that the sages of old have passed on to us is magickal timing. This truly reveals the scientific nature of the craft. Think of the sun, moon, and stars as a great cosmic clock. Everything has its time and place. The Master and founder of Christianity said that there is a time and a season for everything. This certainly is the case with occult science. There are certain cycles in the natural order and certain ebbs and flows exist in the Universe. Therefore, to move with the tides and cycles of nature is to add power to your spells and rituals. To go against these rhythms is to swim against the current, so to speak. Magick may still be effective, but not nearly as much so if done at the appropriate time. There are four main things to consider when doing magick: the cycles of the planets, the Sun, the Moon, and the weather. In addition to these there are internal conditions that are important for magick.

There are seven ancient planets recognized by the ancient astrologers and magicians. The seven ancient planets are the Sun, Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus, and Mercury. You may notice that, not only are certain planets omitted, but also some are added that are not even considered planets by modern standards. Nonetheless, these are the astrological forces considered when working magick. The seven ancient planets have been called the “Governors of the World.”

This is because the great cosmic clock is said to affect the destiny of Man, and they hold in their hands the strange and surreal element known as fate. The seven planets rule over the seven days of the week and the planets also rule the hours in the day. The names that we have for the days of the week are derived from: Sunday (Sun day) , Monday (Moon day) , Tuesday (Mars day) , Wednesday (Mercury day) , Thursday (Jupiter day) , Friday (Venus day) , and Saturday (Saturn day) . Thus, when doing a love spell, for example, it would be best to do this on a Friday and during the hour of Venus (more on this in a moment) . Below I have listed the seven planets and their characteristics and correspondences.

Welcome back.

The Sun entered Aquarius and we’re given the boon of the star in this weeks reading. I like these combinations between astrological movements and the cards that come into play during the weekly. It gives me a little smile and expands the trust I have in the universe. There is also a note with Saturn, Retrograde (January 26th), which as the great restrictror is asking for a look at commitments we made to projects and/or goals. Reorganize. Restructure. Revisit and prepare for the next movement forward. This retrograde is is in Libra and that pings a few things for me…

Seeking balance or agreements that feel right for you in relationships. Finding, through the re-visioning or restructuring, a new sense of going ahead with your plans or relations that is not only better put together but also feels snug, correct in an emotional way. It’s as if we look back and see, “AH! That’s what was bugging me about this!” and so we change and it “fits.” Also keep in mind that Saturn is generally in retrograde 1/2 of a year, so look at it this sort of (seeming) backward moving period as part of life. It’s there 50% of the time and just par for the course, the cycle, and the season of living.

I think this Saturn (R) should be interesting as well as the President delivers his State of the Union speech. As you know the President outlines his legislative agenda but we’ve had a few bucks to the system lately. There are a lot of talking heads yammering about right now about what the President should and should not do and say. I wonder if Barak Obama will find the words that “fit” the changes that must be made. Congress serves their constituents, the President serves the people. Let’s hope they work together.

There is a pause before the change. There is a time of stillness before newness. A moment of darkness before birth.

Like any good leader you have to garner the type of mind that knows when to act and when to remain still. Leading does not require constance manning the  helm at all hours of the day, micro-managing is ANNOYING. It’s time for pow wow, not only a meeting but a gathering of strength and coming together to seek the answers that will best serve us as we come to a close on this last years big changes. Retrogrades and reverses, the World reversed for example, do not mean do not do, although they can I think they are generally there for evaluation. To curb our head strong beast and ask us to stop, look, listen.

That the Star appears, and this is in conjunction with the Saturn+Libra, I think we’re finding the perfect time for inner landscaping seeking answers, solace, and even healing, or in my case easing the spiritual passage. I have the great fortune of knowing many readers, intuitive folk (and the like) and drawing on these friendly resources last week I found a common thread of answer for my own Journey. The message of the spiritual re-birth was clear and the pathway opened before me.

From that path, and the reading, I would like to offer a few tips that may ease your passage in this period of observation, fine-tuning, and easing.

  1. Nurture your process with things of beauty, and acts of beauty. You may think of this as spiritually midwifing and seek out the healer within. Baths, massage, a special therapeutic ceremony that offers healing (The Star) can help you. Even energy work for the sake of something like love, joy, healing, or laughter, sensual giving… these are parts of the pattern of nurturing.
  2. Take advice. In the birthing passage it is hard to see anything else but the way out. It’s sometimes hard to feel anything but the birthing pain. These are leading you towards the new life but it is wise to seek outside perspective, especially when you are simultaneously the mother and the child. It can be confusing (I know) but a little common sense from the doctor can make a world of difference in your perspective.
  3. Expand your graces. Seek support  from your spiritual allies who are probably very involved in your changes. Give offerings. I’ve decorated my house in sweet blossoms not only to bask in the fragrance but to symbolically represent the new birth and give up the blooms to the gods and guides who watch over me.

I’m personally in the midst of this process but after I sought assistance and took the necessary steps to make right for my self and my transformation things began to right themselves. A little self-care can go a long way. I bit of insight can expand a limited insight.

Though the King of Swords is here to call action and progress, I must remind each general that they need a bath, a brush, and a cup of tea with an advisor at the end of the day. No one is capable of doing it all themselves.

Be well,

Greetings!

First, I hope that this finds you feeling groovy on another Martin Luther King Jr. Day. In my mind he is one of our sentinels for human progress. The spirit in which we can find our drive to do better. There is a lot going on in the world right now, well there always is, and I’m find the impetu for breaking down followed by the thematic spirit of hope, to rebuild, stronger and more enlightened.

A few things I want to point out this week.

On twitter the other day, Taz Thornton mentioned the significance of dreams. I mentioned this on The Journey || Lifencompass fan page for those tuning in because I’ve seen the trend of pointing to the importance of dreaming and the messages they carry. Personally mine have been enlightening to say the least, bringing up the debris of issues and energies that have been transiting out the last few months.

In recalling this theme of death / transition / transformation the momentum built to a shift point (Death, Wheel of Fortune, last week) with a moment of push-forward-and-get-it-done.

I used this as an opportunity to tackle some personal fears about success and to let go of some issues around that (self-confidence and prosperity, abundance) although somewhat late in the week, last night into this morning things finally clicked and passed for myself.

Look for some astrological influences of note, courtesy of Sandra Helton:

The Sun enters Aquarius and sextiles both Uranus and Jupiter this week making the atmosphere charged with abundant progressive energy. You become more aware and flashes of new ideas and enthusiasm positively renew your attitude about life.

A major shift this week is Jupiter entering Aries where it transits until June and carries you far beyond a regular routine and the predictable daily lifestyle. There is enthusiasm in the air even if you are not clear about anything in particular. Interest in embracing a more exciting lifestyle and incorporating more is to be an ongoing trend.

The jolt of Mercury conjunct Pluto calls for you to think deeply about what matters and where you are going in life. Out of the time you spend thinking on this and bringing in new ways of management you will have as an end result a more workable and enjoyable lifestyle that has depth and meaning with a spark of newness.

I’m looking at reminders of keeping steady with progress. Things like personal change are not won with the toss of the dice, although they can often be started or noted with the rattle and roll of lady luck. Rolling numbers we see two fives and a nine, both are card members of change. Completing the square is a two, a call of partnerships around ideas. Although with the two of swords we’re looking to be in harmony with our ideas not our fears, so the partnership is with your self.

Keep your eyes on the self and your goals. Watch for self-absorbed behavior and obsession with your own makings but the highlight should be on the goals or projects we have been working on.

Crying over what isn’t, or what is gone, is just a waste of your own energy as it leaks into waste. Avoid it. There is a bigger circle of energy at work, at this time, that can really help you. I’ve seen it in action and whether it is astrological, magickal, or the rush of new years energy, or all of the above and then other things, it doesn’t matter. The help is there, take it.

Keep an eye out for self-doubt, insecurities, and a defeatist attitude. If you catch them you can work with them. They may be coming through in dreams and waking you up at night (nine of sword reversed), you can work on them with affirmations, meditation, or even healing work by communicating with them as if they were sub-personalities that just need to be tended. Massage out the rough parts and work them into the right direction. Again, energy is there to help you in your endeavors. Universally speaking, we are not doing this alone.

Don’t be stubborn in resisting change or making a decision. Fear (above) or denial (two of swords) is blocking you from opening up to the proper direction. My advice is to remove the blindfold and trust what you see before you, directing the swords as emblems of truth, and symbols of action, activating them to cut through the illusions of the mind, doubt and fear, is in your best interest.

Keep plugging away and set your heart and mind on a hight note. Diligence creates abundance. 🙂

Because of the “Dream-Theme” this week, I HAD to put this video in the weekly. 🙂

In keeping with the trend of forecasting energetic trends, I bring you an excerpt from Michelle Karen’s blog.

Look for:

((NEWSLETTER EXCERPT))

We are blessed with a Solar Eclipse on Tuesday January 3 at 1:03 AM at 13º39′ Capricorn.

This degree is represented in the Sabian Symbols by the following image: “An ancient bas-relief carved in granite remains a witness to a long-forgotten culture”. Eclipses are always days of intensified energy which shift our lives permanently to a whole new level of experience and consciousness. Everything done/said on an eclipse day tends to be final. No matter what happens, we should take extra care in remaining positive and loving. This particular eclipse asks us to re-evaluate our goals and ambitions, as well as our place in society. We may want to simplify our immediate reality. As more and more of the knowledge carried within from past/parallel civilizations remember itself within us, the more wisdom and power we exude. An important time to remember who we really are in our divinity and where we come from in an expanded concept of reality.

Saturn turns retrograde on Tuesday January 25

3′ Libra. This degree is symbolized in the Sabian Symbols by: “Two men placed under arrest”. A time to seriously question the duties, responsibilities and obligations our conditioning has made us blindly accept. Even if this means that we could become vastly misunderstood. The more we awaken to our personal power, the truer to ourselves we become, the less tolerant we may be toward structures that have lost their meaning to us. It is a time to reach personal mastery and be clear in our hearts on what rules we truly want to follow and why. On the road to enlightenment we have to follow as much as we can, the dictates of our inner truth.

via January 2011 : Michelle Karen Books, Astrology – A Special Tool for Personal Empowerment.

What I don’t see mentioned here are the great words from her email, which I found quite helpful. Here are some excerpts as well.

********

As this new year 2011 starts, we are truly being projected into the unknown. In the Mayan Calendar, this one-before-last year is our last chance to clear our karma. This is why everything is coming to a head in such a violent way, forcing us to face the consequences of our actions,  but most profoundly, look at our thoughts/images, our feelings and the realities they create in our external world.

This Solar Eclipse talks about the need to find passion in our lives, fully commit ourselves to our spiritual growth, to projects that make us soar, as well as to a deep relationship -first to ourselves in the marriage of the masculine and the feminine within- and then to another whom we have a strong soul bond with. We are seeking nothing less than true intimacy with a person with whom we are of matching power and can relate to in body, mind, soul and spirit. This position is also likely to reveal what is keeping us from true love, what false/limiting/limited beliefs we still hold on to that prevent us from experiencing the joys of shared love. It is a time to dwell profoundly into the thoughts we have surrounding relationships and sexuality. Unexpected fortuitous events involving friends, the pursuit of educational, humanitarian or spiritual interests support us in realizing dreams and visions we’ve held for a long time for a deep personal relationship.

It also requires of us to see our own beauty, own our personal power and stand in our passion.

We could be led to creating new adventurous streams of income that require that we take certain risks in expanding our skills.

Limitations could be felt in our domestic circumstances, somewhat stifling the scope of our actions. But if we remain mindful that the change we want to see in the world first needs to occur in our own perception, then those blocks will automatically disappear and we’ll truly become the masters of our destiny. Making our home a sanctuary to bring the sacred into our daily lives could become important.

On a professional level these were / are important foot notes. I thought it would be beneficial to you to share them. Do with them as you will.

Where ever this finds you, I hope you are having a lovely new year.

Mercury goes into retrograde on Saturday. I’ve been talking to B about this, and spreading out some advice about transactions and communication -part of which I should have kept in mind today myself- *grumbles* because he wants to invest in some new wheels.

Naturally he asked, should I buy the car when Mercury goes Retrograde? Personally, I probably wouldn’t but that doesn’t mean I absolutely would not. Who runs my life, me or Mercury?

Conversation ensued, I had to leave to hit a dinner date / consultation, and I returned to find this article in my facebook inbox.

I love when I get these things. I really do.

The article is cheeky, fun, and yes insightful. B’s probably buying a new car, one like we’ve rented before (and loved), and we’re going to do it on a “new rules retrograde”.

Excerpt: When Mercury Goes Retrograde

What can we do when Mercury goes retrograde? It’s a fair bet it will continue to go retrograde, a few times a year, every year, until the Sun explodes and none of us have to worry about it any longer. So it’s something we can count on — and it’s something we can predict and put on the calendar. In that respect it’s a lot easier to deal with than problems that occur without any warning! Other than hang up signs saying “Talk to me when Mercury’s feeling better,” there are several things you can do to cope with a planet in retrograde. But you can do more than just cope! This is something that will continue to happen over and over, so why not find ways to make it a more positive event?

When I was a kid, we would sometimes declare “Opposite Day.” Whatever we said, the opposite was true. We’d spend all day confounding our elders by doing the opposite of what we were told to do, and tormenting our younger siblings and cousins by reversing Opposite Day halfway through their uttering a particularly disagreeable sentence. (I know it wasn’t just me who did that!) Mercury going into retro doesn’t mean “There will be problems.” It means “What normally is, is not and what normally isn’t, is.” It means that Mercury has declared Opposite Day for the next three weeks.

While I don’t suggest you go around telling your family and friends that you dislike them, I do suggest you try doing things you don’t normally do. Have you been putting off writing someone a letter? Mercury retrograde can be a great time to sit down and communicate with someone you haven’t spoken to in a long time. Have you been busy playing phone tag with someone at work? Stop calling! Maybe it would be better to visit in person. If you and your spouse always seem to fight and argue when Mercury is in retrograde, why not agree to spend time alone, take a weekend off and go on separate vacations or just agree to ignore one another for an evening? You could even declare a “no verbal communication” day and use written notes and hand signals.

Take this chance to be creative. Think about what problems Mercury in retrograde usually causes

November 29th - December 5th

This week we get a full spread of cards across the cloth and the first thing I see is that decision-making is under the auspices of the blind. The choice cannot be made on how it is viewed, other measures / sense should be employed before committing to a choice.

Note that Venus is now direct and  moving out of Libra and into Scorpio, the sign least favored by Venus (astrologically speaking it can be needy, intense, yearning for transformative experiences in love and sex). A bit intense for the fluffy love stuff. Doesn’t mean it’s bad, but I’d mind the intensity in our convictions in our goals and relationships, they could be mistaken or overrun our stability. Mark that Uranus is going direct as well, in Pisces (?), and that’s the planet of sudden changes, electro-magnetism… He is our Awakener, the innovator, the jolt. SHAZAM!

I mention these planetary movements because there could be some major changes in our most intimately connected partnerships (work, love, family) as mentioned last week, the trend continues.

Excerpt:

“There are some notes in the air here that says there has been, or we could be entering a time of some challenges and we’ve given a lot into our situation on the level of giving / receiving / exchange. This could be work, this could be relationships, this could be helping out a friend, or cause… The underlying message is not to be so intense, or driven because you could  lose the balance point perspective of charity and fall into the role of debt collector.

This is not about “right” and “wrong”, winners or losers, those who have and those who have not.

We can honor our feelings. There may be something that is critically wrong with the situation we are in, either immediately or in the long run, and by Gods, that is valid. We can say I have given enough and now it’s time for me. Some self-appreciation is in order, or even some pats on the back from a friend who see’s your real worth. Talk to them. Step away and in one way or another refuel.  Find some balance in your life between work and play, giving and receiving, honor and obligation. It’s the “Holiday Season,” a time when these issues can seem to pop up around every corner, and so it is also the perfect time to be mindful of this balance between give and take.”

Anyway, as I was saying, the two of Swords (R) is telling me that the message of the internal senses, feeling / intuitive, are a better gauge than what our eyes may be taking in. It’s not that you are not seeing the truth but that we must trust our ability to know and to take action.

Trust yourself. You do not need to prove yourself, just feel, know, and then move forward with that stability. Indecision, lack of faith, these will sting this week in matters of the heart, or emotional commerce. The Devil (R) seems to indicate a lesser state of denial. Be mindful of framing yourself between others to highlight the issues, relating, or focus that you have moved through. There is a hint that the internal seeking can feel like it is not enough (Scorpio / Venus / Uranus) and you may want for it to play out in the “RL”.

If there is a case of the drama-bug and a wish to give issue or meaning to what you are experiencing try to be conscious of it. Don’t drag your friends, family, lovers, neighbors, and the kitchen sink into it… unless you can mythically / ritually re-enact the process. Try Sacred Drama, or find a movie, book, something that you can get into and unwind some of the emotional tethers you may have wound up and bound tightly to the heart and mind.

Queen of Wands and Page of Wands, I’m instantly drawn to Cate Blanchett‘s portrayal of Elizabeth and the lovely looking, if tragically flawed, Joseph Fiennes as Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester. I’m also fond of High Fantasy. The latest Harry Potter was pretty good as well. Talk about indecision, the Deathly Hallows, has large portions of learning to trust in oneself, and lots of good ol’story.

So… decision-making. Magus is in reverse I’m pretty solid in my feeling that this is the Querent after the energy has left… Standing where the house once stood. In the place where he or she was and trying to make something happen but there is nothing there left to work with. The time is for action and moving forward and our efforts to make change with what has ended, passed, or is no longer relevant is playing into the illusion of want and our want to make good with what we had / the past.

Gone is gone. Done is done. There is newness and it’s up to you to find it.

Interesting helper cards and I’ve got two images.

  1. The Bee is part of the hive, or a collective intelligence. A group mind. There is a much better field of energy to be found after the fact of letting go and embracing forward movement when we trust our decision making skills and our intuition. A lot of the energy you can just waste on useless drama is fuel for new connections. Sweet like honey if we move forward. Stings like a bitch if we stay back and play-replay-rewind-play-replay the same-o same-o. This “energy” feels universal in nature, magickal, as if what we are connecting to has a force, intelligence, and power all it’s own so I would probably take the time and connect with your HGA, higher self, or higher divinity.
  2. Second card, the Knight of Pentacles (gift giver) feels like an actual, male / masculine, guiding force. A guide, spirit or physical, who is offering an opportunity or gift that can take you forward now. I’m leaning heavily on an actual, physical, person with this one but there may be something “undesirable” about the person (that you believe or perceive) that may block your willingness to accept the gift. Investigate your thoughts and feelings about this… deal, or gift. The space you are in (as mentioned earlier on) and how you are playing out your life will affect the karma, tone, and outcome of this gift or deal.

Bargain or boon can turn in any direction depending on how, or if, you take it, play it, or walk away from it.

Things to think about this week: Full Moon Aries, and the Autumn Equinox.

With La Luna Buena, very full in Aries there is an umph! for spontaneous combustion. I found a particularly great little write-up at Astrology.About.com

When the Moon is full in Aries, the Sun is in the opposite sign of Libra.

Aries is a cardinal sign, making it about instigating, activating and launching the new. Aries is a fire sign, with an emphasis on being animated, high-spirited, enthusiastic and eager to act.

Full Moon in Aries: trusting your instincts; the passion of compassion; vigorous warrior energies; the animation that comes from meeting a challenge head-on; fresh starts; courageous actions; risking confrontation to be authentic; forceful self-expression; the purifying fire of unsentimental truth; taking a stand; being at the edge of new experience; personal charisma.

This Full Moon illuminates: the vital power of the individual — think David and Goliath; your courage to act on the strength of your convictions; your willingness to go it alone, if necessary, to take a stand; the catharsis of being true to yourself; the rewards of going beyond your comfort zone; the thrill of acting on impulse; the exciting heat of friction between strong personalities; your impetuous side.

(Then)

It’s a Good Time to: celebrate individual freedom and your right to live free; nurture hope in new beginnings; be inspired by the urgency of the times; take action, even if you’re full of fear; act on strong intuitive hunches; face a threat directly; allow buried passions to emerge and find expression; honor the messages that guide your unique destiny; act on true desires, not what you think you “should” do; take a bold step toward what you really, really want; do what makes you feel alive!

Sounds very much like it fits in with the message of The Fool there, right?

The Autumn Equinox has arrived as well. Equal day. Equal night. In the Northern Hemisphere we honor the change of the season amidst a Libran point of balance, noting that we will begin to grow dark and cool. Days will shorten, nights grow longer. Leaving Summer, finding Fall. Turning to colder months… well I’m in LA that would be a blessing. I’d like some rain and storm!

These two events take place this week, in the midst of our weekly. Thursday is the Equinox, Friday is the Full Moon. These are incredibly magickal times to be had, yet I don’t trust the power of the Fool at face value, he’s blocked. The message could  conflict with the Aries push through the lunar cycle and the balancing power of the Autumn Equinox, if the message in whole is not heard.

A Fool, couple of swords, three cups (R), for coins, 9 wands (R), and a wolf.

I know a few folks that have written me about the Tarot Weekly… I can’t say I know everyone that reads these posts but I appreciate your feedback, support, and encouragement. It isn’t always such a lovely reading but it is a reading none-the-less from a source that asks, what is the trending energy?

Let’s take a look…

Tarot Weekly

The Fool, foppish, flops into our spread this week. “It’s time!” He says, “Let’s begin our adventure. Would you rather be there?” pointing at some distant vantage point where everything looks much better than where we are. Where are we? Blocked, grounded, held in place.

Are you allowing yourself to open? It feels like the opportunity for new things, a change of pace, a new scene or relationship to explore but something may be blocking you. What is your feeling telling you? Your intuition? Your gut? How do you feel about the person you are with and those that are around you? Can you trust them? Are you not trusting them for a reason? Are you the reason that you are shutting someone out?

The Fool and the Two of Swords are asking a question, are you blocking yourself from an experience connecting with another? There are swords across your heart. Your eyes have been blinded, are you staring in at a memory, reliving that pain or are you embracing the moment.

She could also say, why are you of two minds about this, is there a reason you hesitate? What is the reason fear or necessity?

Three of Cups (R) -the Threesome Card- is next and this strongly suggest that someone is directly affecting your intimate / love relationship (status?). This could be a couple of things but most likely through gossip or just really shallow behavior.

Suss out your emotional state. FEEL your feelings. Where are they telling you to concentrate? How did you come to have them? Where should you be focused?

This could also be the temptation to indulge in damaging behaviors, excess drinking, drugs, bad habits, or letting in the wrong folks at this time. These are masking habits that people sometimes use to cover their feelings or the truth of about themselves.

Watch the gossip but be mindful that you are making the choices here (The Fool). Now is the time to be conscious of your choices in intimate situations, who you trust with what / or your lack of ability to trust at this time. The crossing of the heart and blindfold can pair with this card and ask us questions about our consciousness in the moment with those we love, and those we trust.

Four of Pentacles says “selfishness” and “egotism”. “I want”, “It’s for ME”, “don’t touch. MINE”. Generally childlike behavior and personally, kind of gross.

What are you trying to preserve? What status are you trying to sustain? Of course the card can say that there could be some material gain coming your way… but with the shape of the cards as they are, I’m feeling that this is about love, intimacy, and trust. Again.

The last of the Tarot this week is the Nine of Wands (R). Now we are asked directly, why are you holding yourself back? The fool says forward yet you guard your heart, you hold onto the present and want things to change, you lose the energy, the thrust of new, by building up your defense.

This is not inspiring. I ask, is this even a strength at this time?

The long and short of it seems to be:

You want to move forward because you feel the need for change, want change, or otherwise are in a growth period but your blocking yourself, defending your emotional nature, and the question to ask is: Why? What does it serve? What does it protect? How are you fulfilling your intuition to be happy / satisfied? Are you focused on the right things, people, and method of operating?

In my own life I see this playing out in three scenarios, personally. Suddenly people I know to be gossips were highlighted. The change I’ve felt in my relationship (positive) was illuminated with a big cosmic highlighter and I want to make a note of that as well. We change as human beings and in a relationship whatever the dynamic, if it is a relationship based on trust, love, and companionship, we grow and change together. Not always at the same time but if we have established that trust then we have support, a sounding board, and a partner in our time of growth. We explore together. I did not have resistance to this, as marked by the cards.

However in the last week two things happened to show where this resistance is playing out within my own life, on another level and it came with two gifts. One was a pair of stones from my friend Nancy Stenn, one piece of Pyrite and Rhodocrosite that grew together quite nicely in the earth and the other was a gorgeously dark piece of Heulandite. These relate to the heart, and I’ll get to that.

Pyrite is a power stone, related to Leo (that’s my sign) and has also been thought to be a healers stone. I’m a healer. 🙂 It can be used to harmonize dualities, left and right, and we approach a time of balance, the Autumn Equinox. The heart is a center for Alchemy, brining together forces and finding harmony between them.

Rhodocrosite is another stone of love and balance. It helps to align the various bodies. Another harmonic stone, pink, related to the heart or peace center. It also has a Leonian connection.

Heulandite in its green form also connects to the heart chakra, and the earth energies. Among other things it helps in times of change.

When I opened the box that contained these stones I instantly felt a cloud lift from my heart.

Later last week I also had some time to get a massage from a wonderful friend by the name of Bryan. He did some work on my back and ribs, I had some blocks and locks that needed to be addressed. At the end of the massge my Hara line lit up like line of fire, igniting each chakra from crown to root, clearing up some of those blocks. Bryan is an amazing body therapist, lots of love, and that second gift again hit on the issues at hand.

But the issues for me were not with my physical relationships but with my spirit relationships. I ask myself, how and why am I defending against greater connection to my spirit allies? Why was I so ungrounded with this newness and how do I begin to ease into greater communication and relating.

This can be the relationship that is in question as well.

Anyway… Thank you for tuning in again. I hope this finds you well.
